SOROPTIMIST INTERNATIONAL CLUB OF BANGSAR TURNED 33
SICB is different this year in our celebration of our 33rd Anniversary. Instead of having it in a hotel or restaurant, we decided to celebrate in Rumah Hope, which houses 50 children of single parents, refugee children and children from aboriginal community.
Thus on 8th Nov 2025, we organised our Care & Share Day at Rumah Hope in conjunction with our 33rd Anniversary, where we held an interactive talk on Bullying & Self Esteem, shared the Anniversary cake cutting and eating with the enthusiastic children, had games and prizes and singing. We shared our lunch of KFC with everyone.
SICB also donated RM2700 worth of much needed shelves to store the Home’s supplies.
Care & Share Day was a fun-filled day, a meaningful event to not only bond our members, but to spread compassion and joy with the less fortunate.
